Roots is a parenting, and caregiver, foundations group that provides education, tools, and other resources to support your growth to become the parent (or caregiver) that you want to be. This group will be meeting every two weeks on Tuesday evening (virtually), at 5 pm, for a total of 8 sessions – starting on May 23rd. This group will benefit parents of children who are between the ages of 4 to 14 years old. However, if you feel as though you can be supported in this group, it is open to all parents!
As an active participant in this group, you will define your parenting style and develop skills for connecting with your child. We will be going over attachment styles, communication skills, limit and boundary setting, creating goals with your child, as well as modeling and teaching moments. You are a valuable part of your child’s development, take time to secure and nourish your roots.
Registration is required, as this is a closed group that will accommodate up to 8 participants. Households can register individually or as a couple. All parents will participate in the first meeting to provide introductions and orientation to the group. If you are registering as a household, it is encouraged for at least one parent to attend each meeting. Payment can be completed per session ($30 due each meeting).
