Mama’s Retreat

Winter 2021 Retreat is NOW opening up

Mamas Therapeutic Winter Retreat

Tiffany is inviting 15 Mama’s to join her for a therapeutic weekend retreat that will bring about rebalancing our mind, body, and spirit.

This retreat will take place January 15-17th. The goal of our retreats is to foster connection with ones self, to provide the space to connect with other mothers, and to explore the internal dialogue that prevents us from taking time to care for ourselves.

The beautiful thing about this space, it allows us to physically distance. We will have smaller group activities. Also, as you can see there is a great deal of outside space. As we know what we will be looking at weather wise, we will have options that makes everyone feel comfortable.

Space will be limited and payment plans are available

Vernalization: How Turning Inward Can Help us Grow – Yin Yoga
Our opening night will begin with a grounding YIN Yoga Practice and focus on the themes of winter: how stillness and darkness can produce growth.

In nature, the process of vernalization requires the cooling of seeds during germination to accelerate flowering once planting. We will apply this concept in class through introverted practices like child’s pose, forward folds and grounded practices that incorporate long holds and time to reflect before we move into the weekend.

Yoga through the Lens of Self-Care: Slow Flow Vinyasa
In this class we will look at what self-care means in regard to the mind, body and spirit to help us understand the need for balance in our lives. We easily take care of others and put everybody else’s needs before our own, so this class is all about moving our bodies in a slow an intentional way to nurture ourselves in a calm, relaxed way.

This Slow Flow will incorporate slow movements that will offer a challenge to help overcome mental obstacles and give options to meet all levels of yoga practitioners.

Cultivating Calm and ClarityYin Yoga
A chance to turn inward. A restorative yoga class that will utilize soft movement and relaxation to ground us into the present and help you unwind after the first full retreat day. We will complete the class with an extended savasana and optional savasana assist.

Moving Forward TogetherAll Levels Vinyasa
This class will incorporate the most movement of the weekend. It will encompass the theme of community and support as we round out the weekend together. We will move our bodies in an intentional way that allows us to recognize our breath and it’s connection to our bodies. Class will end with a guided meditation to help you set an intention for the week ahead.
