
Judy Randolph
Dr. Judy Randolph is a licensed psychologist who obtained both her masters and doctorate degrees from the University of Notre Dame in counseling psychology. She completed her internship at Hamilton Community Health Center in Terre Haute, IN. Her research for her Master’s degree examined caregiver stress and for her Doctoral degree she examined the timing and successful adjustment of loss of a spouse in late life. Previously, she has worked as a licensed psychologist in private practice, provided psychological services in a geriatric facility, and was on staff at a community hospital in northwest Indiana. She also has worked as an adjunct faculty instructor at Indiana University NW. Although no longer licensed as a registered nurse, she believes her years of working in this field has prepared her to understand underlying medical conditions and the importance of medication management, especially when an individual is prescribed more than one medication. As a psychologist, Dr. Randolph utilizes cognitive behavioral, interpersonal process, and psychodynamic approaches with clients. Herapproach to therapy is one of collaboration with her clients as she believes her purpose is to assist clients gain understanding about their mental health and the healing process. Having experienced postpartum depression herself, she has great empathy for women who experience this struggle after giving birth to a beautiful child. She experiences no greater joy than to assist a client gain improved mental health and confidence in caring for herself.
