My goal as a therapist is to provide an individualized approach that is tailored to each person I work with. Whether you are experiencing crisis, grief, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, life transitions, parent-child relationship challenges, family conflict or have simply lost your way, I will meet you where you are. My priority is to offer you a safe genuine place for sharing and healing. Working together we will develop skills to cope with the ever-changing trials of life as well as give you an opportunity to gain a better understanding of yourself and your strengths.

My clinical experience includes the treatment of a variety of mental and behavioral health challenges at every age. I’ve had the privilege of working in multiple settings including education K-5, teen and adult intensive outpatient groups, community and home based, emergency services and skilled nursing facilities. I particularly enjoy working with children and families to address behavioral concerns, conflict and barriers to healthy communication. My specific experience working with the Incredible Years Program confirmed my passion for working with children and family dynamics. The program is a series designed to promote emotional and social competence; and to prevent, reduce, and treat behavior and emotional problems in children.

In addition, I also have experience working with young adults, adults and clients into their geriatric years. This has allowed me to understand the various different stages of life and the stress that comes with each. My most recent clinical work focused on adults struggling with loss of independence, grief related to the loss of loved ones and declining physical abilities due to age or medical conditions. I am available to work with people of all ages and stages in life.

I earned both my undergraduate degree in Psychology and master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The University of Akron. I utilize a mixed approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Person-Centered therapy.

I look forward to supporting and standing with you on your journey toward healing and wellness.
