Clinical Social Worker, LISW-S
I believe in a holistic focused approach to therapy. I incorporate mind, body and spirit to achieve a regulated emotional state and balance in one’s life. I believe that client’s are the experts in their own life and I have a variety of therapeutic techniques in my toolbox to accommodate each individual to find their unique healing path.
My goal as a therapist is to provide an individualized approach that is tailored to each person I work with. Whether you are experiencing crisis, grief, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, life transitions, parent-child relationship challenges, family conflict or have simply lost your way, I will meet you where you are.
Amy Dillon Cody
There are times in our lives where we feel stuck in a place where we cannot reach our personal goals. We may have difficulty moving forward because of difficult feelings, disruptive thoughts or the inability to find our own internal power.

Hope for the Journey is my professional motto. As your partner, my goal is to support your healing by arming you with the tools, insight and encouragement to increase your hope, healing and happiness along your journey through life. Treatment is uniquely tailored to each individual’s needs and is done in partnership with the individual or family.
Without judgment, I prioritize creating a safe space to talk and unpack life’s many challenges that can leave us feeling overwhelmed and stuck. It is important to me to build genuine and trusting relationships with clients, as this creates the foundation for healing.
My goal in counseling is to provide a safe, judgement free space, that we can work collaboratively and create space for growth . I believe it is an honor to serve the clients I work with and strive to meet them where they are to guide them on their journey.
The fundamentals of my practice consist of creating a safe place where I am privileged to listen to my clients’ narratives. I believe each of my clients have their own strengths. I take pride in empowering clients to identify and grow their strengths to guide them through the challenges of life.
I think of counseling as collaborative, where I am able to act as mirror and consultant. I work to highlight your strengths and positive aspects, while gently pointing out certain aspects of thoughts and/or behaviors that might be contributing to your reasons for coming to counseling. And always, I hope to foster a safe, nonjudgmental environment.
Life provides us challenges, ups and downs, and periods of extreme
distress. Our unique experiences often shape how we view ourselves and
the world. My approach to therapy is to assist in reframing your thoughts and beliefs, and encouraging you to take an active role in this process.

When you change the way you see things, the things around you change. If you want to change your life, you must first change the way you think. As your therapist, I will help you gain clarity on, and connection with, your own inner spirit as we uncover how you view yourself and your experiences.
