Alina is a Master of Social Work student at Case Western Reserve University (Class of 2026), concentrating in Mental Health with Children and Adolescents. She has also previously earned a Bachelor of Sociology from Kent State University. She is deeply impassioned in working with individuals who have experienced trauma to build resilience and overcome barriers to their individual goals. Alina employs a holistic approach into her treatment, utilizing techniques that build on the mind-body-soul connection to help clients achieve emotional regulation. She has previous experience providing counseling to both children and adolescents, as well as promoting health literacy and resource allocation to adults as a Community Health Worker.

Alina aims to create a caring and supportive environment where collaboration and lasting healing can occur. She is interested in working with both individuals and families, and is especially focused on the relationship between anxiety, OCD, and trauma. Alina enjoys infusing creative and innovative techniques in session, including art, books, and yoga, to encourage client self-expression. She brings a warm and spirited energy to session, and centers her work around helping individuals to develop coping skills that enable them to reclaim their lives and fulfill their truest potential.

Alina’s clients would describe her as “knowledgeable,” “compassionate,” and “enthusiastic.” In her free time, Alina enjoys baking; watching movies; practicing pilates; playing with her kitties, Mina and Smudge; and spending time with friends and family.
