My approach to counseling is grounded in empathy, presence, and a deep respect for each client’s unique journey. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and I am honored to walk beside you as you share your story. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and truly understood, meeting you exactly where you are each day. I am committed to fostering a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can speak freely and explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment.
I take a person-centered and Gestalt approach, focusing on self-awareness, presence, identity, and empowerment. However, I understand that every person is different, and there is no “one-size-fits-all” solution in counseling. That’s why I place great value on building a strong therapeutic relationship that is tailored to your needs.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Baldwin Wallace University, where I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I also have an Associate of Liberal Arts and an Associate of Science degree from Cuyahoga Community College. Additionally, I created the “Parenting Style and the Levels of Self-Esteem and Expressivity in the Individual” Thesis assessment measure on Qualtrics.
As a Counseling Intern at Holding Space, I’m gaining hands-on experience while working toward my LPC licensure. I plan to continue my education with a focus on eating disorders and art therapy, with the long-term goal of opening a private practice.
I welcome individuals from all walks of life and am excited to work with clients aged 13 and up. Guardians of minors are welcome to join sessions, but I prefer to meet one-on-one with the client to foster deeper rapport and social skills development.
I look forward to holding space for you!
